Can you look at a painting and tell if it will enhance your home or workplace? Valley Art Gallery lets you live with the art before making a commitment to purchase.

Operating since 1955, our rental program offers customers a convenient and affordable way to have original art in their homes or offices. Paintings can be rented for a three month period and if you decide it is right for you, part of the rental fee applies to the cost of the painting.

Rental Guidelines

The rental price is determined by the price of the painting. If you decide to purchase the painting, the amount paid to the artist (70% of the rentals fees,
not including tax) is deducted from the price of the painting. A maximum of four rental periods may be applied to the purchase price but there is no limit to the number of rental periods that you can rent the painting. With two weeks notice to the renter, the artist has the right to recall a painting at the end of any three-month rental period. However, the renter also has the right to purchase it at that time rather than return it.

Sales

Valley Art also sells original paintings by local bay area artists. Purchase prices range from $150.00 to $3,500. In addition, the Gallery sells fine crafts and jewelry.
