BEA JAE O'BRIEN
Bea Jae began her Art training and education in the New York City area in the 1960s with well known art educators. Experimenting with the medium is her favorite challenge as exemplified by her signature membership in the International Society of Experimental Artists. The visual effects created by the artists selection of textures and color continue to fascinate her and are a strong consideration in developing her art. She often uses multi-layered paint and mediums to achieve a sense of antiquity.
Bea Jae has been showing her artwork for many years, in numerous local art exhibits, festivals and local businesses. She has won many Bay Area and National awards. Her work can be seen in various galleries in California, Kansas, Ohio, Florida and Texas. She belongs to a number of Art groups and organizations, local and national. Her name and works have appeared in a number of publications. In addition, her art has been seen in international museums.
