GERI KEARY
Geri Keary is a colorist and paints in a style influenced by the French Impressionist masters, using her own interpretive style.
She earned her national Signature Awards from :
- The American Watercolor Society
- The National Watercolor Society
- The California Watercolor Association
- The International Society of Marine Painters
- in national juried shows.
Geri competes in many statewide and national shows and has won many awards. She has placed in the top 200 of 15,000 entries in The Artists Magazine competition for two years and 22nd in professional competition nationwide. Articles highlighting her painting techniques have been published in the Watercolor '94 Spring Issue, published by American Artist; Watercolor Magic Winter 1995, published by The Artists Magazine; Acrylic Painting Techniques, authored by Grenville Killeen, published by North Light Books, sty Edition 1994.
In addition,Geri has taught art in the Martinez Unified School District Adult Education program. She has juried shows and done commission work for brochures and print ads.
